I won a "Dresden Residency" from the Greater Columbus Arts Council. This allowed me to stay in Dresden (a sister city of Columbus) for three months in 2005. I had a marvelous time. There were tremendous photo opportunities, and I made some wonderful friends in the camera clubs in Dresden (check out
www.fotoklub-exakta.de). I still communicate with my friends, and I will be making several trips there in the next year or two.
